The Roland GR Series is the successor to the Roland GX-Pro Series. Improvements include:
- separate perf-cut station
- faster speeds (20% faster than the GX)
- 600 gram force as opposed to 350 on the GX-Pro
- improved blade holders
- powered pinch rollers for variable control of pressure
- includes catch basket
- improved CutStudio software
