The DE-3 Engraving machine was announced on 20190322 as the replacement of the EGX-350 engraving system. The DE-3 is sold with Dr Engrave Plus as bundled software. On 20200124, VCarve was added as an option. Improvements with the DE-3 include:
- Ethernet connectivity in addition to the existing USB
- Dr. Engrave Plus
- Metal and Silicone nose cones
- Laser LED Pointer
- Improved Control Panel Display
