The Roland RF Series is a single-compound-head system designed for high-speed economical banner printing and is similar to the VSi series, but without the contour cutter and without the metallic/white ink settings. The RF-640 has new features including enhanced network messaging and a new ink-switching system which allows for ink cartridge replacement during continuous machine operation by running each of the dual-CMYK ink cartridges in series.
