Warranty Period Repairs
- Shipping costs to the repair center are borne by the customer.
- Shipping costs from the repair center to the customer are paid for by the repair center.
- Send the machine to one of our offices along with:
- a description of what is wrong, including: when it goes wrong, when it started, and whether other symptoms happened at the same time.
- a change history of what has been done to the machine, including previous repairs, firmware upgrades, software upgrades.
- a copy of the sales invoice showing the date of purchase and the vendor who sold the unit.
- a sample of material which shows the defect (if available).
- relevant machine parts only.
- Send: machine, tables, collets
- Do Not Send: safety covers, plexiglass hold-downs, cables, transformers.
Out-Of-Warranty Period Repairs
- Shipping costs to and from the repair center are borne by the customer.
- Repair labour costs apply for out-of-warranty service. Before proceeding on the service, 3DTechnics will contact the customer to confirm the costs involved.
- Send the machine to one of our offices along with:
- a description of what is wrong, including when it goes wrong, when it started
- a change history of what has been done to the machine, including previous repairs, firmware upgrades, software upgrades.
- a copy of the sales invoice showing the date of purchase and the vendor who sold the unit.
- a sample of material which shows the defect (if available).
