The Roland SRM-20 is a direct replacement of the MDX-15 and MDX-20. Some improvements include:
- bi-directional USB connectivity with active VPanel
- improved collet design with set screw plus backward-compatibility with original collets
- faster X/Y speed - 2x MDX
- updated SRP-Player CAM as well as Modela4 CAM and iModela design package
- G-CODE capability
