The Roland PNC CAMM-2 was the first engraving machine line produced by Roland. The first model was the PNC-2000. PNC stands for "Programmable Numerical Control", and CAMM-2 refers roughly to 2-axis machines (although some PNC-2xxx machines were three-axis). The CAMM-2 was the current line from 1988 to 1996, when the CS-20 was introduced. The PNC-2300/A was the last CAMM-2 machine on the market, and it evolved into the EGX-300 in 200109.
