The model naming scheme for the SC line is a bit awkward, but here are the overall naming conventions:
- There are two model widths - 54inch and 50inch
- The original 50 inch is the SC-500, and with Ecosol and extra HU heater it became the SC-500EX
- The original 54 inch is the SC-540, and with Ecosol and extra HU heater it became the SC-540EX
- The SC-545EX is an updated 54 inch with an integrated heater system, Ecosol and Versaworks. The second "5" in SC-545EX is for V, indicating Versaworks. The model is also known as the SolJet PRO-2 V EX Series.
- The SC-545EX can also be retrofit to handle white ink to become the SC-545EXW.
